Editorial Policy

This page explains how content on compuace.com is created, sourced, reviewed, and corrected, so you can judge for yourself how much weight to give our guidance.

    Who writes our content

Articles on this site are published by CompuAce Team, the editorial byline of Advanced Consulting Enterprises, Inc. Content is produced by consultants and engineers working in our IT, cybersecurity, cloud, and database practices. We publish under an organizational byline rather than inventing individual author personas. Where an article is written or reviewed by a named individual, that person is credited by name and role on the article itself.

    How we research technical subjects

Guidance is based on the work our team performs for clients, on vendor documentation current at the time of writing, and on published guidance from standards bodies and government agencies. When an article depends on external facts — end-of-support dates, licensing terms, regulatory requirements, published research — we link to the primary source so readers can verify it directly.

    How we select sources

We prioritise, in order: official vendor documentation; government and regulatory publications (for example CISA, NIST, HHS); standards organisations; and original research from established industry bodies. We avoid citing content-marketing pages, aggregated statistics with no traceable origin, and secondary sources that restate a claim without attribution.

    Claims, statistics, and marketing language

We do not publish client counts, uptime percentages, threat-volume statistics, response-time guarantees, or awards that we cannot substantiate. Service descriptions state what we do; they are not framed as measured outcomes. Vendor and framework names describe technologies we work with and do not imply formal partner status or that CompuAce itself holds a certification or attestation.

    Updates and corrections

Technical articles are revised when the underlying technology, product lifecycle, or regulatory guidance changes. Substantive revisions update the "Updated" date shown on the article. If you find an error, email service@compuace.com with the article URL and the issue. Factual errors are corrected promptly; material corrections are noted in the article rather than silently removed.

    Use of AI tools

AI tools may be used to assist with drafting, editing, and formatting. They are not used as a source of fact. Every published article is checked by a member of the CompuAce team before it goes live, and technical recommendations reflect our own practice rather than model output.

    Editorial content vs. service pages

Blog articles, guides, and explainers are educational and are written to be useful whether or not you become a client. Pages under /solutions and /locations are commercial pages describing services we sell. We do not accept paid placements, sponsored links, or affiliate commissions in editorial content.
